Gail Williams is an active Charlie’s P.L.A.C.E. volunteer who has assisted with various events including the Community Launch Celebration, Summer Youth Basketball League, Carnival and Double-Dutch competition. Having grown up in the Kalamazoo community, Gail finds that it is important to give back when she is home from college.

Gail is currently studying at Southwest Michigan College, majoring in Early Childhood Education and Nursing. She also is active in volunteering on campus with various sports teams. Gail’s goal is to one day own her own Daycare. She believes that “you can achieve any goal you put your body and mind to” and is working hard to make this dream a reality.

 

We at Charlie’s P.L.A.C.E. commend Gail for being both a stellar student and vital volunteer! We thank her for her service and believe that she is young role model for youth everywhere. Gail is truly an example of what Charlie’s P.L.A.C.E.  is all about through her pursuit of leadership and community engagement.
