Mother & Son Dance

The annual Mother & Son Dance event is a special date night for mothers and sons including dinner, dancing, special performances. This event is intentionally created to encourage a space for mothers and mother-figures( aunts, grandmothers, godmothers, sisters, mentors etc. ) to spend time with their sons. YBL Mini Camp

June 2019

YBL mini camp is FREE and open for boys and girls entering 2nd-9th grade. Camp includes conditioning, skills training, teamwork, shooting and dribbling. Also get the opportunity to meet the coaches and staff for the upcoming summer YBL season. You must register to participate in mini camp, space is limited! YBL Season

June-Aug 2019

The 46th season of the YBL program will kickoff on June 24, 2019 and go until August 3rd. Games will be played weekly, Monday-Thursday from 5:30 PM-8:00PM at Hillside Middle School. Family, friends, and community members are welcomed to games. If you are interested in volunteering  please email info@kzoocharliesplace.com. Trunk of Treats

Location: 1900 Block of Krom Street
The Trunk of Treat safe Halloween neighborhood event draws over 900 community members to the 1900 block of Krom St. located on the Northside of Kalamazoo. This year’s theme is “Marvel Universe.  If you would like to participate by bringing a vehicle to hand out “treats” we ask that you complete the Trunk of Treat Vehicle Registration form. If you would like to volunteer or if you have questions, please contact our volunteer coordinate by email at volunteer@kzoocharliesplace.com.
